At age 8, Jilaire was obsessed with cutting out pictures of furniture and pasting them into scrapbooks to create ‘rooms’. At age 11, she killed time by studying floor plans while she waited for her parents to finish work at their lumberyard. After taking a detour in the field of communications and public relations, Jilaire has returned to her passion – creating beautiful, functional spaces.
